There are almost 1 million Rohingya refugees from Myanmar now living in Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh. MSF has provided more than one million medical consultations here since August 2017. Most of these cases are linked to dire living conditions. MSF has treated people for diarrheal diseases caused by lack of clean water and poor sanitation. A quick response and mass vaccination campaigns halted outbreaks diphtheria and measles. Many Rohingya suffered extreme violence in Myanmar. MSF offers help with mental health services.
